SUNTERRA RE continues to dominate the Bulgarian green energy market, confirming its status as the largest solar energy producer in the country. For the third consecutive year, the specialized edition of the newspaper. “Capital” awarded the company the first place in its ranking.
With 535 MW of installed solar capacity and 300 MWh of energy storage capacity, the company remains a driver of the green transition in Bulgaria.
Key projects and achievements include the 208 MW Dalgo Pole solar plant, the 201.4 MW Galabovo plant, the 115 MW Karlovo plant, and the 9.6 MW Pleven plant.
SUNTERRA RE also builds energy storage systems, and is currently commissioning batteries with a capacity of 150 MW/300 MWh.
"Leadership for three consecutive years is the result of hard work and proof of a clear vision. Our focus now is on hybrid solutions and energy storage that will cement the company's place as an undisputed player and driving force in Bulgaria's green transition," said CEO Emil Shopov.
